1R52 probes are specially designed for resistivity measurement in drain assembly. These stainless steel coaxial probes, with a 1/2’’ threading easy to use, have almost an unlimited life in normal operation mode.

A PVC connection, 1/2’’ male threaded connection, allows an easy fixation. Standard length of the probe is 50mm. Standard coaxial cable makes 3m (length can be adjusted on request).

The 1R52CT has a temperature sensor PT100 which permits temperature measurement.

Cleanliness of the electrodes is very important in order to obtain an accurate measurement. Both electrodes have to be smooth and shiny. A check-up is necessary regularly (every month).

Least dirtiness can short-circuited the electrodes and give a wrong measurement.

The electrodes can be cleaned passing a rag between them.
(Nota: the probe in the air gives an infinite measurement and «zero» in short-circuit).
