1R42 probes are specially designed for conductivity measure in basin. Stainless steel 316L or graphite electrodes have almost an unlimited life in normal operation mode.
PVC fixation clips allow an easy fixation.
Coaxial cable length is 3m in standard (length can be adjusted on request).
On 1R42 CT probe, a PT100 temperature sensor permits a temperature measurement.

Cleanliness of the electrodes is very important in order to obtain an accurate measurement. Both electrodes have to be smooth and shiny. A check-up is necessary regularly (every month).

Least dirtiness can short-circuited the electrodes and give a wrong measurement. It can be cleaned passing a thin file on each pastille.
Nota: probe in the air gives a conductivity of 0µS, in short-circuit it gives an infinite measurement.
