1R31 probes are specially designed for resistivity measurement in drain assembly. These stainless steel coaxial probes, with a 1/2’’ threading easy to use, have almost an unlimited life in normal operation mode.

The standard length of the probe is 70mm.
The deconnectable coaxial cable in standard is of 3m (length can be modified on request).

The 1R31CT has a temperature sensor PT100 which permits temperature measurement.

Cleanliness of the electrodes is very important in order to obtain an accurate measurement. Both electrodes have to be smooth and shiny. A check-up is necessary regularly (every month).

Least dirtiness can short-circuited the electrodes and give a wrong measurement.

The electrodes can be cleaned passing a rag between them.
(Nota: the probe in the air gives an infinite measurement and « zero » in short-circuit).
